“carpe diem
we are infinite”
When I finally turned 18, I got this baby! After a few years of asking myself if I REALLY wanted a tattoo, and if so, what I would possibly get, this is what I decided on. Carpe diem (or “seize the day”) has so much meaning to me because after feeling as though I can’t measure up & I’m not going to be good enough, I’ve proved myself wrong. Hard work and dedication have landed me at my dream college, pursuing architectural engineering. Going out everyday and literally forcing myself to try harder than the day before is how I intend on living the rest of my life.
The “we are infinite” part is a very permanent reminder of just how permanent our actions are. I’m going to leave my mark on the world one way or another. We all are. We’re not limited to our lifetime, we’re infinite if we want to be.
This tattoo was done by Shannon at Jester’s Court Tattoo in Southside, PA. I highly recommend Jester’s Court, it was voted best tattoo parlor in Pittsburgh.
